Etownweb.net was created by PAontheweb LLC. This is the site that started it all back in 2002 by Mike Kelly, retired from the 193rd Special Operations Wing Middletown PA. Having few skills that translated into the civilian world he got into the website business. This was a logical choice having written, in 1992, the first Air Force Manual in HTML, a code used for building websites.

The first thing he realized was people needed a better place to get found on the local level. The idea of EtownWeb.net was born. Soon after he was approached by some young web masters about running the entire state of Pennsylvania under the domain name PAontheweb.com. From that success he has branched out to 7 other states. However, his home and heart was always here to serve businesses and the people of South Central PA.

The next thing he knew was the need to let people control their own websites. Few people want to wait on a web master to update their website. Even more business owners realized the creation of a website should be left to the professionals. Once designed, optimized for searches and installing all the great features like newsletters, databases and subscription feeds the additional updates can be left up the business owner.
